Less than a month to go now before Team Spectra get on their bikes in aid of Myeloma UK who are helping our close friend, Major Jim Boyle, who was recently diagnosed with Myeloma.

Jim is continuing his treatment which is going as well as can be expected at this stage, so that is the good news.

The riders on the other hand have been reported to still be driving to work and having extra-long NAAFI breaks in consuming lots of bacon butties!

Not to worry because the team will be getting on their bikes to cycle The Coast to Coast over the period 5th – 9th July 2012 no matter what.

Spectra would like to give back, in some small way, a little something to support those people affected by Myeloma to help improve treatment, standards of care through research, and raise awareness.

We set a target of raising £5k and so far have raised £2,073.00 so a big thank you to those that have donated to date. We very much know and understand that there are many charitable activities taking place at present and all for good causes, but we hope you can help support this motley Spectra crew in reaching their target. Simon has promised to shave of his beard and wax his legs if we do get to the target before the 5th July.

If you can give anything at all please visit this link : http://www.justgiving.com/spectra-group - Thank you.

Some of the Team Spectra – Looking good and ready for the challenge !!
