Spectra Group demonstrating SHADE capabilities at DVD 2009

Spectra Group is exhibiting at DVD 2009, one of the most important events in the defence diary for those involved in the equipment and support for the Armed Forces.  Organised by the MoD for vehicle, battlefield infrastructure and related support services industries, it provides an ideal opportunity for us to demonstrate the capabilities of SHADE, a self-contained, rapid deployment network infrastructure. 

 

SHADE provides an effective and unique solution to restore voice and data communications where high intensity conflicts, natural disasters, pandemics or terrorist attacks may have destroyed existing networks. 

The extensive 700 acre facility at Millbrook offers an ideal setting for visitors to understand and experience the capabilities of equipment in an interactive environment. 

In partnership with Milsys, a leading supplier of rapidly deployable shelters, we will be providing visitors with free drop-in internet cafe facilities enabling them to maintain communications throughout the event.

DVD 2009 takes place on 24-25th June at Millbrook Proving Ground, Bedfordshire.
