Spectra Group announces senior appointment

Spectra Group (UK) has announced the appointment of Tim Langford as Chief Executive Officer. He will be responsible for developing and delivering operational and strategic plans that will enable the company to build its profile in key target markets and maximise the increasing demand for effective communications solutions.

 

Tim Langford has more than thirty seven years experience of the telecommunications industry mostly gained as a serving member of the Special Forces. He joins direct from EADS (DS) where he was Capability Support Manager for the Paradigm Program responsible for UK gateways supporting deployed operations and commercial communications in Iraq. Prior to that, he was Head of Deployed Network Solutions for DCSA delivering critical capability to both Iraq and Afghanistan. Tim has also worked for Airwave as Project Manager delivering communications systems to HQ Land formations and units including the bomb disposal community.
